still holds up rather and freaks the shit out of me. Definitely one of King's better horror films but then there are several good ones.Weinberg posted his Top 100 sci-fi films recently but left one of my favorites off his list: This Island Earth
. So I ordered from the library and watched (haven't seen in a long, long time). Still love the sheer campiness of this '55 flick during the boom of Hollywood alien invader & outer space films. The Mutant is also one of my favorite monster aliens.
