Ken Russell's
The Lair of the White Worm
(1988) is one of those films I had always heard about but always passed. But damn this is one trippy horror flick w/the fine, fine Amanda Donohoe as the succubus. There really aren't words to properly explain this one. If I ever meet Hugh Grant, I will ask him about this film.
Did the flipside of my
Poltergeist 2+3 flipper with
Poltergeist III
(1988). Appreciate this unneeded sequel more than the 2nd one simply b/c it's based in Chicago in the Hancock Building no less. Also I like Tom Skerritt in the distressed father role (
Poison Ivy anyone?). Plus a young Lara Flynn Boyle... hot.
