The interview with him (on the DVD) is interesting as he indicates that he wanted to make a "family & kids" movie and Wizards is just that... however, with all the Nazi overtones and sexual undertones I'm not sure this is really appropriate for the under 10 set. That said, this flick is ripe for a remake.

Have you seen Wizards, the Ralph Bakshi animated feature from 1977? what a trip this is... I'm curious what drugs he was on when he created this. The interview with him (on the DVD) is interesting as he indicates that he wanted to make a "family & kids" movie and Wizards is just that... however, with all the Nazi overtones and sexual undertones I'm not sure this is really appropriate for the under 10 set.
