because there were a couple of films from these I was interested in (the winners from that year: Six Shooter and Moon and the Son - both were excellent). There's 8 total films here but since these are "short films" I'm only counting it as 1 movie (just under 3hrs total viewing time). The other animated shorts were "okay" but the live action shorts were all very good. I particularly enjoyed The Last Farm and Runaway (both foreign films and a bit dark like Six Shooter). Overall a good watch and recommended if you haven't seen.

Award Worthy Shorts
tonight I started watching A Collection of 2005 Academy Award Nominated Short Films because there were a couple of films from these I was interested in (the winners from that year: Six Shooter and Moon and the Son - both were excellent). There's 8 total films here but since these are "short films" I'm only counting it as 1 movie (just under 3hrs total viewing time). The other animated shorts were "okay" but the live action shorts were all very good. I particularly enjoyed The Last Farm and Runaway (both foreign films and a bit dark like Six Shooter). Overall a good watch and recommended if you haven't seen.
