Cyclone (1987) stars Heather Thomas in a Fred Olen Ray production. That should tell you all you need to know. Caught a bit of this on MGMHD and knew immediately upon seeing Jeffrey Combs and Heather Thomas dancing in a punk bar that I had to see the entire film! Recorded the next viewing and ate it up. Nutshell, it's about a $5 million superbike that terrorists try to steal. 6.5/10
Went out to Barrington AMC for screening of
The Butcher, the Chef, and the Swordsman a.k.a.
Dao Jian Xiao (2010). While not a great film it's still a fun fable film to watch. I would buy this on blu-ray just to bathe in its gorgeousness. Huh? Kitty Zhang Yuqi is beautiful. Marry me? 7.5/10
Grabbed the
Piranha
(2010) blu-ray from the library quick picks shelf but really wasn't up for rewatching. But I did anyway and sadly it didn't live up to my initial viewing at the midnight screening. Still an okay 7/10.
