Women WIll Do Anything

Girl Walks Into a Bar (2011) screened at SXSW today while also streaming on YouTube for home viewers. I was able to blow this up to view on my HDTV to join the screening. Pretty good watch but look forward to a better quality (less pixelated) presentation. Everyone looks so attractive, esp. Emmanuelle Chriqui and the other women. 6.5/10

Another TCM flick, Laugh and Get Rich (1931), is about a woman playing three men to eventually take the best option. Mildly amusing. 6/10

Bed of Roses (1933) was the second of pre-code my Gregory La Cava double feature. Like this one a little more with the two protagonists as women released from prison and looking for a better life while hiding their past lives of prostitution. 6.4/10
