Boxing Hauer

Saw George Pal's 7 Faces of Dr. Lao (1964) for sale in a video store close-out and considering getting simple based on the cover. Fantastic artwork. Didn't buy it but picked up from Netflix. Very fun and whimsical tale featuring Tony Randall in all all the main roles. Barbara Eden is scrumptious. Not the greatest of films but silly enough to make it watchable. 6.5/10

Wanted: Dead or Alive (1987) is a Rutger Hauer vehicle that I'm sure I caught glimpses of on cable back in the day. But didn't remember that much to consider it a valid rematch. Gene Simmons stars as a terrorist that gets his ass kicked and finally achieves a terrific onscreen death. 6/10

Recorded Gordon Hessler's The Oblong Box (1969) from either TCM or MGM during their Vincent Price runs last month. Like the mood and atmosphere. Solid watch and good short story a la expanded Twilight Zone episode. 6.5/10
