Name Optional

Thanks to MGMHD I was able to revisit one of my favorite early 80s action flicks in The Final Option (1982) a.k.a. Who Dares Wins. Not a great or even good film but man did we ever love the hell outta this SAS / terrorist flick back in the day. This was when reading Soldier of Fortune magazine was a monthly ritual. Anyways, here we have an top SAS (Special Air Service - the elite anti-terrorist military of Britain) infiltrate a terrorist organization to prevent a major world catastrophe. The ending still kicks ass to no end even with the silly goggle camera. 6.7/10

The Horror Movie Night selection tonight was The Unnamable (1988), another one I haven't seen before and based on a H.P. Lovecraft story. Not a bad little flick about some college kids that go snooping around and open the vault of the demon beast. Very watchable and decent practical effects. 6/10
