(2005) was worth viewing via Netflix Watch Instantly. And indeed it is if you have any appreciation for German Expressionism silent films from the 20s. In b&w w/all the angular set-pieces, this is a nice send up to that ethereal spooky cinema. Nice to see a "modern" movie recall cinema such as this. |
