Beating the weekend crush I dropped into MUVICO to soak in the latest James Cameron epic
Avatar in 3D. It was everything I wanted it to be and yet much more. Yes, lame story and weaksauce characters but it's really everything else that chews up nearly 3hr runtime. Already looking forward to next viewing. Best of year? Not quite but Cameron will be lauded (again... sigh).
Possibly the worst 2009 film seen so far this year (and time is running out!) is
Blood: The Last Vampire
. Wow, what a disappointment. Even more disappointed in Koyuki who decided to accept her role in this terrible film. Nothing good or interesting here. Move along.
