What is this, a homicide or a bad B-movie?

How Night of the Creeps (1986) has alluded me this long is really beyond even my scope of comprehension. For whatever reason I'm sorely behind in late 80s horror viewing (I blame lack of televisions during my college years. Hell, it was an *event* when someone had a TV w/accompanying VHS tapes). Anyhoo, a terrific B-horror film that must have been a major influence on Slither. Check it out.

As I watched Soderbergh's 2009 The Girlfriend Experience I was trying to decide whether I liked this film or not. Upon further reflection, I do and I would watch it again (thank you again, Instant Watch, the streaming transfer was gorgeous). A lot of it has to do Sasha Grey, who is quite photogenic and visually attractive. The day-in-a-life story of an escort is okay but it's more of Soderbergh's camera and editing that makes this work. Not a bad experience for a $2 million experiment. See what I did there?
